You will visit the quaint village of Oughterard before journeying deeper into this rugged landscape as the 12 Bens Mountains open up in front of you.
A major highlight of Connemara is a visit to the stunning Kylemore Abbey and Victorian walled gardens.
The splendid Kylemore Abbey carries a fascinating history and romanticism which will capture your imagination. After lunch we will have the option to visit Killary Fjord, Ireland’s only through Fjord left by glacial deposits during the last ice age. We return by the coast road and experience beautiful views of the wild Atlantic.
