Founder Derek Spillane began guiding in Galway City in 2012 after graduating with a BA (Hons.) degree in Heritage Studies. He later achieved Regional and National Tour Guide qualifications and began offering private day tours from Galway. Derek is widely praised for his in-depth knowledge of Irish history, culture, and geography, as well as his engaging storytelling and professional approach.
