Sample a glass or two while learning the entire process from distillation to glass on a one-hour tour not to be missed.
Option to visit an Oyster Farm and sample the finest oysters grown on the west coast of Ireland.
ITINERARY OF IRELAND FOOD TOUR
9. 00 am Depart Galway
· You travel along the Connemara Coast to an island farmhouse where you will have a chance to try your hand at making traditional Irish soda bread
· Experience the rhythm of island life and the Connemara Gaeltacht (designated Irish-speaking region)
· Visit the beautiful Kylemore Abbey, before strolling around its walled kitchen gardens.
· Visit an Irish Distillery and discover Connemara’s long distilling heritage from our local hooch, Potin to the finest wee sup in the West of Ireland. (This can be accommodated at the beginning of the day and is highly recommended as an add on)
· 6 pm Return to Galway
