Discover the jewels of the Wild Atlantic Way on a five-day fully guided private day tour from Galway City to Killarney in Co. Kerry and Co. Cork. The tour takes in the Burren National Park and the majestic Cliffs of Moher with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The second day explores the Dingle Peninsula, an Irish-speaking area with dramatic coastal and mountain scenery. You will drive the winding Conor Pass, Ireland’s highest mountain pass before visiting the Blasket Island Centre and beautiful Slea Head. The picturesque village of Dingle with its charming artisan shops and atmospheric pubs is but one highlight. On day three you will explore the Ring of Kerry/ Valentia Island before arriving in Kenmare. The following day journey to Cork and explore beautiful Cobh and visit the Titanic Experience, or the old penal colony on Spike Island. Stay in Cork City and soak up the atmosphere with its fine restaurants and the English markets or stay in the quaint seaside town of Kinsale, Ireland’s culinary capital. The final day gives you the option of visiting Blarney Castle where you can kiss the famous Blarney Stone before visiting the historic Rock of Cashel.

ITINERARY

Day 1

-Meet and greet in Galway Ceannt Station/Hotel at 10am
-Visit Kinvara with a stop at Dunguire Castle.
-Comfort break at Hazel Mountain Chocolates, artisan bean to bar chocolatiers located in the heart of the Burren UNESCO Geo Park.
-Visit the ruins of Corconmoe Abbey
-The highlight of the journey is the resplendent Cliff of Moher with stunning vistas over the Atlantic Ocean.
-Lahinch and lunch.
-Arrive Killarney 6pm

Day 2

-Depart 9am
-Conor Pass ( Ireland’s highest mountain pass)
-Kilmalkedar Church
-Gallarus Oratory
-Beehive Huts and Sheepdog demonstration
-Slea Head Drive
-Dingle and lunch or freetime
-Arrive Killarney 6pm

Day 3

-Depart Killarney 9am
-The Ring of Kerry ( Ivagh Peninsula)
-Valentia Island ( lunch)
-Kerry Cliffs
Or Derrynane House National Park ( Home Daniel O’Connell, the great Liberator)
Arrive in Kenmare

Day 4

-Depart Kenmare 9am
-Kenmare Stone Circle
-Cobh
-Visit the Titanic Experience and Cobh -Heritage Centre or Spike Island Penal Colony
– Saint Colman’s Cathedral
-Option to visit Charles Fort and overnight in Kinsale ( Ireland’s culinary capital) and night tour of Kinsale

Day 5

Depart Cork City or Kinsale
-Blarney Castle ( Kiss the Blarney Stone)
-The Rock of Cashel

Arrive Galway City 6pm
